Summer's comin'-hip hip hooray!!!

School will be out, and that means it's the perfect time
for a new addition to your family. First ya gotta decide
who would best fit into your lifestyle--there are SO
many choices.
Fish are pretty quiet--but ya do have to be sure they
have a clean "house" and the right food. Anything that
slithers can be tricky-ya need to have the right diet
and housing and a veterinarian who really knows
reptiles. Those little rodents are my personal favorite-
LOVE to chase those squirrels up the tree--oh wait I'm
supposed to be talking about pets. Well those little
guys do make good friends-but those cages can get
stinky; be sure that's on someone's chore list. Cats
are-well, cats and a little stand-offish in my opinion.
Ya never see a cat run up and give ya a big kiss! But
my cat does spend a lot of time in Mon's lap snuggling
and purring, so I guess I see the attraction. Then-ta da
---"DOGS" We're just the best--loyal, loving, playful,
friendly, cheeerful, trusting--all the the things a best
friend should be. If you choose a dog (my choice)
check out the breed you're interested in and be sure it
"fits" with your family, and then even though it's
summer, head to school. Then you and your friend will
be set for life.
