Tanzy's Tips: Summer's comin'-hip hip hooray!!!
School will be out, and that means it's the perfect time for a new addition to your family. First ya gotta decide who would best fit into your lifestyle--there are SO many choices. Fish are pretty quiet--but ya do have to be sure they have a clean "house" and the right food. Anything that slithers can be tricky-ya need to have the right diet and housing and a veterinarian who really knows reptiles. Those little rodents are my personal favorite- LOVE to chase those squirrels up the tree--oh wait I'm supposed to be talking about pets. Well those little guys do make good friends-but those cages can get stinky; be sure that's on someone's chore list. Cats are-well, cats and a little stand-offish in my opinion. Ya never see a cat run up and give ya a big kiss! But my cat does spend a lot of time in Mon's lap snuggling and purring, so I guess I see the attraction. Then-ta da ---"DOGS" We're just the best--loyal, loving, playful, friendly, cheeerful, trusting--all the the things a best friend should be. If you choose a dog (my choice) check out the breed you're interested in and be sure it "fits" with your family, and then even though it's summer, head to school. Then you and your friend will be set for life. Love Tanzy
